I genuinely do not want to start internet rumors so I’ll say up front that I don’t think there’s enough evidence in the record to make a call.
But I think it looks fishy AF. A senator known to be hawkish on Russia, a country ruled by a regime known to use poisoning attacks against political enemies, dies of a “brief and sudden illness” right after visiting a country in which Russia is waging an open war. A senator who, rarely for Republicans, hasn’t been willing to be as cosy with Russia as Trump wants to be. Russia had motive, and they may well have had opportunity.
Did the “brief and sudden illness” involve an open window or some poison?

I think he came down with Distractonitis, a rare disease that appears when a colleague of yours dies but it has to stay a secret.
Wasn’t he touring a Ukrainian drone facility just the other day which just so happened to be bombed by Russia the other day too?
