there is no such thing as bisexuality.

you simple exist in a state of homo or no homo and you don’t know which until your pants come off.

Hey, I get this is supposed to be a joke but starting it off with the words “there’s no such thing as bisexuality” and then proceeding to reduce attraction to only existing during sex… Yeah, that’s kinda gross

cool, tell that to all the people who think bisexuality isn’t real, instead of lecturing someone who thinks it is?

and especially tell it to the lgbt+ people ‘progressive’ who also think it isn’t real.

or continue to attack someone who is your ally, i guess. because that’s easier I suppose?

or maybe don’t do it because you will just alienate people who do support you.

and ignore the context of the thread at all times, of course.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, and tried alerting you in good faith that your “joke” didn’t come off the way (I assume) you intended.

I didn’t accuse you of being biphobic.

I didn’t even accuse you of thinking bisexualality isn’t real, despite the fact you wrote that in your comment.

I said nothing about you personally.

The correct response would have been along the lines of “sorry, I didn’t mean for my comment to come across as hostile, I was just trying to make a silly joke, my bad”

Instead, you’ve just been a dick

            What does that accomplish exactly?

you being offended and feeling self-righteous about it and no doubt patting yourself on the back about the whole exchange here.

              you’re welcome.

An ally would listen to feedback from the minority they claim to support… just sayin’

Ooh look I can do that too!

I bet you’re sitting there with a huge smug grin on your face after totally owning me in this debate we were having, and you’ll tell all your friends and colleagues about how great you are for winning this internet argument

See how I made up an imaginary caricature of you and insulted that? See how fucking dumb and childish that sounded?

Maybe next time don’t take constructive criticism so personally

If you’re able to be alienated by someone trying to be inclusive, you were never an ally to begin with.

In true quantum sexuality, measuring it would actually affect the measurement. You’d probably get a lot of false positives for any super hot humans you put in front of test subjects.
