At 3.3%, the average inflation from 1914 to 2026, a cup of coffee that’s now $3.52 will be $75 in 93 years.

Rent, however, $1750 avg for apartment today will be $20000 in 74 years

I’m sure spikes in inflation will jack these numbers up faster than purely averaged rates provide
