Why would they waste that much money on an execution. There’s genuinely no reason to do that

Think about how many times the accidentally US dropped a nuke on a US town but it didn’t go off because of the safety systems in place.
It’s a lot easier to lose nukes when you have tens of thousands than it is if you have up to 60.
