Whoa there gonna be there for 60 days helping ICE arrest people until the secretary of defense said not to??? That seems further than quelling a “rebellion” in the form of a protest that lasted half a day

People - citizens, visitors from Canada and Europe and children - being arrested, kidnapped, hurt and shipped to prison, in random countries, without warrants, agents identification or even uniform, without due process. Students with greencards and all the paperwork being silenced for protesting, intimidation in the streets and at work for people that look like unlawful immigrants.

But it’s fine, it’s just immigrants getting their comeupins, right? If you are an American, you’re safe, none of that can happen to you or your family, just other people that deserve this type of unconstitutional treatment…

I was watching the live streams last night a little, it was mostly people going about their business and very few people. I think there were more ICE soldiers than there were protesters.

Here is one that I watched a little: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5MfqiO3QQk

    Here’s another view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdPTnHNEUiE

there used to be platforms that would show livestreamers on a map, so you could get angles on protests as they were happening. I remember using it during the George Floyd protests in 2020. terrible for privacy, but it was incredibly useful to get an unfiltered view from the ground.

do any of those still exist? or did they shut them all down?

I did look for something like that, but I couldn’t find any. It was easy enough to have 4 or 5 tabs open and check them periodically. There still might be one though, I remember having to have a link for the Seattle protests.

In addition, the Secretary of Defense may employ any other members of the regular Armed Forces as necessary to augment and support the protection of Federal functions and property in any number determined appropriate in his discretion.

Trying to bypass posse comitatus via EO? An interesting gambit, since TECHNICALLY it’s not the president deploying troops.
