The cloud seeding was just a government stunt, they were already told it wasnt going to work by IIT professors themselves but they went ahead and wasted 3.2cr of tax money cuz why not? It also would only last a few days anyway as the core causes of pollution remain unaddressed

The government itself straight up denies and even allowed things like firecrackers which made the AQI get even worse than it normally wud (not saying firecrackers are the main cause, but it definitely made it much worse), the gov denies its even an issue and is busy campaigning while the citizens they rule over are having insane problems with reports suggesting everyhousehold suffers from some sort of an issue directly attributed to air pollution

India post 2014 tbh is just a great example of how to cosplay as a democracy just enough that the world doesnt raise an eyebrow but at home minorities (and mind you its not just muslims, it includes christians and even lower caste hindus) continuously harrassed and the income gap becoming wider than under the british rule…
