Joey is back! In pog form!
At this point it is expected though. Imagine CVS would start and not print these anymore. There’d be petitions and demonstrations to get it back.

“Don’t you have phones” moment

So essentially, you need to make a malware that activates the agents instead of users doing that, which is likely not to be classified as a malware since there may be legit reasons to do that. And then you can use that agent to get your actual malware in. Sounds horrible overall.

Your words make my heart bleed.

Could of course be the same person behind both accounts but at least one of them existed for a while.

You guys all missed the Syncthing 2.0 upgrade.

Some more info here, does not read super fishy, all meant well but happened in a strange way https://github.com/researchxxl/syncthing-android/issues/16#issuecomment-3542202530

You… do know the name comes from Greek mythology and not that movie? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prometheus
It is the god that stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. A much more favourable view on the name. Sorry, I am just really concerned that someone thinks of that movie first when hearing the name.

Right. Worked so well all this time.

I’ve had no such issues with the syncthing-fork.

I don’t get it. What are they even seling then? Bitcoins I understand, but AI? Just enabling scams?

On the file structure I only found the same logs I can access from the dashboard. Those only show scheduled tasks which are not running through the day.
Your suggestion means I need to know the pid of Jellyfins process? And I guess I need to run it when I think something is happening at the moment?

That is exactly my usecase. Especially during the week the server is used only in the morning and in the evening. It is not accessible outside my home wifi either. So the drive is sleeping like 20 hours a day instead of running needlessly.
My first thought behind this was also wear of the drive but seems like that is a small issue. Cost of electricity is however another one, but to be fair I never calculated that. Might be less than in your case but still money spent on something not being used.

Well we are already getting a popup warning when installing apps outside of the play store. You also have to enable the actual source where you get the file from/try to install it from for allowing installation of these apps.
How massively complicated are they thinking to make this that people are not “coerced” into installing? Also there is really no need to pressure anyone to download a scammy app. There’s plenty on the play store.

Don’t worry! Soon coming to your mainland European country too!

Is there any way for you to stream via an android device. There some apps like Findroid (currently in a code rewrite phase but the last stable version works fine still!) which have a much simpler interface. My kid was able to use this nicely at age of 4 already, but that was for watching on an android tablet, so maybe not applicable for you.
E-mail seems a divisive topic on that though. You find either people whobsay, selfhosted my mail for 4 decades already, never ran into issues! While the other end of the spectrum is not to ever ever eeever try selfhosting e-mail, it is not worth it.
Lmao.
"When you’re done with your exam you can just leave you know?”
“Shut up dude, cannot jinx my Gwent streak!”
