You’re equating creating a meme from some clever shit you saw someone say with slapping someone. Stop being dramatic, I’m just saying, this is how the internet functions. It’s not hurting anyone, and it’s just a way to spread comedy, so who cares?
Welcome to the internet.
Fuck you buddy, it’s gonna be MY year.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit gross that there’s a Spotify ad right in the awards list? “BEST SCORE AND MUSIC, LEVELED UP BY SPOTIFY”

3·21 days agoIs there something about linkedin and zoom I should be concerned about? I saw them mention that they deleted their linked in and are wary of zoom. I was not aware of any issues with those at all.
I am not familiar with flat packs vs snaps, I will have to look into that. I’m not opposed to learning different file systems if need be, it’s all new to me anyway, but if one is easier than the other I would probably go with that.
Reaper was the plan, but open to something different.
What hardware do you have? Mine is somewhat on the older side (ryzen 3600 and rx 6600), but new enough to run games and other software decently.
What apps does Mint have installed by default? Because I’m trying to minimize the things I need to tinker with up front to have a good experience. I am somewhat technically savvy, but this is my first linux install, so I’d like it to go smoothly and hit the ground running. What is the benefit of mint over this OS?

6·27 days agoI’m currently OS shopping, and saw a video of a PikaOS install that looked extremely easy and painless. The fact that it prompts you to install the “gaming meta” packages right up front is clutch. I think I might give that a go as my first install.

2·27 days agoThat’s obviously always a concern, but I don’t really see anything they are doing that would lead to either of those. If anything, they are making it safe by adding things like encryption, audience controls, and private groups. Their approach seems to be very community focused and driven.

Does this person not understand how media specific sites work? If you want a mixed media website, there are plenty out there on the fediverse. Saying every site should host every media type gives users less options, not more.
