10·13 days agoLots of rude and hateful comments over here generating a ton of reports. Next time I’m issuing perma-bans for this kind of nonsense. Be respectful.
I find myself getting choked up often when there are powerful emotions on display. Sadness, joy, and even things like bravery. Dunno why, but I do. So did my Dad. Maybe it’s genetic.

Generally what I’ve heard is that raccoons are very sweet and docile when young. They turn problematic as pets as they age.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Why isn't Lemmy doing anything about issues where the propagandists/spammers can be seen spreading staged or AI-generated propaganda, such as "This is Gaza, Unfiltered"?English
9·2 months agoThe very question of “why isn’t Lemmy doing anything” is deeply misunderstanding the structure of this network. Report something offending and instance mods will look at it. You know, like all the reports I got about this post.

Fuck Cars@lemmy.world•This is how Uber is manipulating americans. They sent an emergency message to everyone in the city, telling them to protest. The tax is $1 to improve public transitEnglish
64·6 months agoI think you might have taken it a bit too literally. It’s clearly an uber push notification, so the implication is that everyone in the city (who uses uber and has the app installed) got a notification.

I suspect if you incur a fine due to your refusal to provide data, they might deny your entry next time you try to visit. Just a guess though.
