10·3 days agoMaybe a bit too meta, but I’m really tired of people who are willing to accept that literally everything has gotten demonstrably and objectively worse in the past 30 years.
People are complaining because the world is going to shit and most of us have hit our breaking point.

Canada is implementing sane immigration reform - it’s certainly not perfect, but comparing any facet of it to ICE is disingenuous and serves only to normalize the current state of American politics
To anyone downvoting this: respectfully, pay more attention. There is a global attack on immigration policy being perpetuated by the United States - it’s no coincidence that the conversation has shifted from US policy to immigration policy in every western country, basically overnight.
